Murano glass is from Venice, Italy, primarily made on the island of Murano and has a long history of popularity due to it’s complexity and beauty. Murano glassmaking is very much a skilled trade. Murano glass is used is a variety of areas, the most popular being; jewellery, glassware and lighting.
We launched a range of Murano glass last month and in a very short period of time we have nearly sold out!! We have had a great reaction to the colours of the Murano glass that we stock as some jewellers do tend to go for very deep colours, whereas we have decided to use pretty colourways which we feel shows this glass to it’s best advantage. We have sourced Murano glass with silver foil inside.
