The Handbag Phenomenon
A survey has recently been carried out women and their handbags. Many women view their handbags as much more than a fashion accessory and indeed own several different styles. The survey discovered that the average 30 year old owned 21 handbags and also buys a new one every three months, on average spending £76. This would equate to 111 handbags in a lifetime worth more than £8000. 5% of the women questioned admitted to owning more than 100 handbags. On the topic of designer handbags, the average spend for the 30+ age bracket, was £380 which can surely only increase due to the recent price increase in designer bags.
