Last week saw the return of Luella at London Fashion Week after a six year absence whilst based in New York. Luella’s signature British quirky and juxtaposing style is still clear in her collection for Spring Summer 2008. It has been argued that her style is possibly better suited to Britain rather than the US. This will be realised as the opening of the first Luella store in Mayfair has coincided with LFW.
After buying jewellery for exclusive department store in Edinburgh, I have now decided to set up my own business. I am specialising in semi-precious stones and sterling silver and have a very beautiful collection of pieces.
Working with semi-precious stones allows for a great spectrum of deep colour's as certain semi-precious stones can be dyed. Jade, quartz, chalcedony and agate can be dyed varying shades of reds, pinks and blues.
