Dolce and Gabanna’s 23 inch waist cincher..
One of this seasons must have has been the Dolce and Gabanna’s solid metal belt which gives the wearer a 23 inch waist. This belt costs £1, 345 and is held together by metal rivets and is laced up the back with a padlock, key and chain on the front. The emphasis of the waist is a key feature this season, but since the average waist size of women today is 31 inches, a 23 inch waist is possibly not the easiest nor most comfortable of achievements, with the question of where the squeezed flesh is placed? The ability to sit, or to actually move may be impossible! Although, this belt has been a success and has already been seen on a great number of celebrities from, from supermodels to soap stars- Naomi Campbell to Samantha Janus.
