The Clutch and Clasp on-line boutique is available to you with the following Terms and Conditions/ Terms of Service.

We may modify our Terms of Service from time to time to ensure that we are offering the best possible service. By continuing to use this site following such changes shall signify your agreement to such modifciations.

For those wishing to use our services through our website, you must read and agree to be bound to our polices in respect to such services. If you are under 18 years of age, you must inform your parent/ guardian of our Terms of Service.

Privacy Policy

We follow the Privacy Acts of 1984 and 1998. We are committed to ensuring that personal details are not disclosed to any other third party. If you choose to register with us, or send an email of correspondence we will keep your email address for the sole purpose of contacting you with information of any of our promotions or information on our membership scheme, or indeed to communicate with you regarding your order/ transaction.

You can opt out of this option at any time by contacting us.

We retain sales information of items sold so as to ensure that we can achieve optimum stock levels as required.

If you place an order with us, we need to hold the following information; your name, email address, phone number, address and credit card billing address. Credit card details are entered directly into our payment provider system, Protx. This information is not tramitted nor held in Clutch and Clasp's sytems.

 

 

Purchasing and Payment.

Clutch and Clasp offer a simple method of buying a desired product.Browse through our collections using any of the search options on offer. Each product has a detailed description, measurements and 2 images, a thumbnail and an enlarged image. If after viewing all of this information you decide to purchase the item, please click on the shopping cart icon, "add to cart". This will take you to a screen detailing the item, please make sure that the correct item has been selected, with an option to continue shopping or to go to checkout. At the checkout you will be asked for your name, address and whether you agree to the Terms of Service. You will then be asked for your method of payment information. Clutch and Clasp use Protx, a secure payment service provider.

After following the steps to place an order, you will receive an email of confirmation of receipt. You will then be notified of the despatch of your order, which will be within 1 -2 days of the order being processed. If you prefer to pay by cheque, you will again receive a receipt of confirmation and you will be notified of despatch of the order, which will occur after the cheque has been cleared. We accept debit/credit cards as stated as well as postal orders and cheques. Cheques and postal order should be made out to Clutch and Clasp.

Most jewellery items are kept in stock at all times. Please note that due to the nature of handmade pieces there may be a temporary break in supply. You can request an email to notify you when a piece is back in stock.

 

Exclusion to Refunds.

In compliance to Health and Hygiene Regulations, refunds will not be given on purchases of  pierced earrings. All of the earrings on thsi website are for pierced ears.

Please ask any questions on such pieces to clarify any potential doubts.

Refunds/Exchanges/Damaged Goods/Repairs.

If you are unhappy with your order, you can return it within 7 working days of receipt of your order. You must notify us by email where you will be issued with a number. You must include this number along with; your name and address, original order number, whether you require a refund or exchange along with a reason for return. Returns sent outwith this detailed time scale will be accepted at the discretion of Clutch and Clasp and can only be refunded as "store credit". Returns must not be made until an email of confirmation has been sent by ourselves with the relevant instructions.

We require that the goods are returned using postal insurance as we cannot be responsible for lost items. All items leave here new and free from defects, therfore unless, in the rare ocassion the goods were defective at receipt you will be responsible for the cost of insured postage. If an item arrives damaged you must notify us within 48 hours by email. Any item that is returned for a refund or repair must be sent in suitable packaging, preferably by how it was originally sent from ourselves, by box or heavily padded enveloppe.

If a refund is required it will be made to you within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation notice.

We have a very high standard in the making of our jewellery. If over a period of time of wear, an item needs a repair we do offer a repair service. Prices will be as low as possible, and will depend hugely on what is required, and will include postage and insurance. Please contact us with any query into repairs.

Quality.

We offer beautiful handmade jewellery. Due to the use of natural stones there may be slight variation in some pieces due to the composition of the stones. This variation will be slight but often unique.

We cannot be held responsible for any colour variation that has been caused by the browser software or computer software used by you.

Intellectual Properies Rights

You acknowledge and agree that all designs and all other intellectual property relating to the content and code contained within this website shall remain propery of Clutch and Clasp/ and or respective Designers. It is not permissable to copy nor download, nor transmit any content of this website. The designers are registered with design ombusman for protection of their designs.

Disclaimer.

Due to the nature of our products, prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We display the quantity in stock for each product. Some designs may be "one off" buys, where it is not possible to reorder. If this is the case this item will be taken off our product listing as soon as it becomes out of stock, therfore it should not be possible to order a product that is obsolete or indeed out of stock. We aim to regularly update our collections.

You use this site at your own risk and agree that you are personally responsible for all of your communication and activity within this site.

 

Promotions.

We aim to offer our customers a great product offering which includes frequent special offers/ promotions. The duration of such promotion  is determined by the quantity available of the promoted item/s, which will be detailed  and the subsequent sales for this item.
